Blindsight

In 2004, Erik and some of his Everest teammates led six blind Tibetan teenagers to the north side of Mount Everest. They reached 20,000 feet—higher than any team of blind people had ever stood before! This remarkable expedition was the subject of the award-winning documentary film, Blindsight.

Listen to an interview with Erik and some of the students on NPR's Weekened Edition.
