Fostering Global Citizens

Erik has been part of Global Explorers for many years. In 2006 and 2009, he led groups of sighted and non-sighted students to the Incan ruins of Machu Picchu in Peru. In 2008, Erik went with a Global Explorers group on a 16-day raft trip down the Grand Canyon. And in 2009, he lead a team of blind and sighted students to the summit of Ixtaccihuatl, a 17,802-foot volcano in Mexico.
