Highest Summit On Each Continent

Erik is most famous for becoming the first, and so far only, blind person to climb the Seven Summits. His quest began in 1995 with the ascent of Denali (aka Mount McKinley) when he was a school teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. This achievement garnered interest from people all over the world since, at the time, it was unprecedented.

In this section, you can learn more about each of Erik's expeditions to climb the Seven Summits, which he completed in 2008.
