Another Reason to see High Ground

My friend Malcolm Daly recently shared this great article from the New York Times written by Sebastian Junger (the author of WAR and co-director of Restrepo). It thoughtfully sums up many of the feelings that our veterans struggle with daily.

In the movie High Ground, Michael Brown and Don Hahn brilliantly captured many of the emotions that our injured soldiers face. If you’re in Colorado, I hope you’ll come watch this powerful documentary with me of Friday (Nov 2nd) at the American Mountaineering Center in Golden. We’ll have Jon Krakauer introducing the film and Michael and some of the soldiers will be on hand afterwards to answer questions.
